Painting Bricks Shawl
Part of the Painting Patterns collection, this Painting Bricks sample was knit in our Peachy Flamingo kit. (Available soon!) Our new 50g skeins of Bicycle have made it easier (and cheaper) than ever to play with lots of colour!
Dustland Shawl
A part of the classic Dustland range, this Dustland Shawl is looking sublime in Tandem in our North Sea Colourway. To be fair, this shawl would look great in any of our West Wool colourways.
Trixie
Trixie is a fun and textured one-colour shawl pattern. Each section moves on to a different textured pattern, making the knitting fun and easy. This beauty was knit in our Beatrix colourway in Bicycle.
Teira
Teira begins with a wide cast-on and narrows to a point created by regular decreases worked at one side of the shawl. This triangular shawl features a combination of wrapped ribs, giant eyelets, slipped sts and bobbles. This stunning sample is made in Bicycle with the colourway Brackish.
Maja Beanie
Maja Beanie is knitted bottom up using Tandem. The brim is knitted in twisted stitches and can be folded double or triple depending on choice. The body and crown of the beanie has a childhood memory inspired bobble, cable and twisted stitch pattern which reminds Jenny of building a tent out of pine needle tree branches in the woods.
Ossus Pullover
A classic oversize sweater knit with squishy moss stitch. Rastus chose romantic Roswitha for this cosy project.
Astragal
Astragal is a cropped length top-down, in-the-round yoke pullover knit in Tandem. The sleeves are designed to be three-quarter length; however, the sleeves and body can be easily lengthened.
Woven Warmth
Gather your favourite colours and cast on this stunning woven masterpiece using Bicycle!
Celadon
Combine two colours of Glowhair with squishy Bicycle to create this warm and cosy hat!
Trianglegram
This triangular shawl begins with a tiny triangle at the centre of the shawl. Parallelograms are stacked on the three sides of the triangle hence the name Trianglegram. Each parallelogram shape is knit one at a time while being attached to the previous sections for an entirely seamless project. Repeat the stripes until you are ready to bind off.
Aperture
Apertureis a large half-pi shawl with reversible colourwork. The shawl is worked from the top down. For Lauren Wallis, the floats of a colourwork pattern are just as beautiful as the face, and this was a chance to showcase both. The high contrast of black and white emphasises the crisp lines compared with the blur that the floats achieve. Knit up yours in squishy Tandem!
Funfetti
Funfetti uses four colours of Bicycle and is knitted in pieces (back, front and sleeves) from the bottom up and features a simple 3-colour 6-row Slip Stitch Pattern. The neckband is worked by picking up stitches along front and back neck edges after the shoulder seams are sewed together and knitted in the round.
Port Townsend
The Port Townsend Sweater brings a bit of seaside charm. Whether you’re in the mood for short sleeves for those sunny days or longer ones for the breezy evenings, this pattern is all about versatility and comfort. It’s a fun and straightforward knit that we’re sure you’ll love to make and wear. With its clean lines and customizable stripes, it nods subtly to coastal inspirations, making it a versatile addition to your handknit wardrobe.

Choose between four sizes and enjoy the relaxing rounds of textured stitches. The DK weight gauge produces a quick to knit project that’s perfect for gift giving or a fun weekend project for yourself.
Elwood
Discover a land of boundless creativity for colour play, Elwood crafts an eloquent dialogue between you and your creation.
Inspired by textures in the woods, I wanted to use nature as a canvas, painting modern geometric lines to form an image that can evoke your emotion. It’s a colour work, it’s a cable knitting, it’s an enticing accessory project that serves as a playground for your artistic reflection.
Tiny Pebbles
Tiny Pebbles is an easy-to-wear sweater is worked in one piece from top down, the neck is shaped with some short rows and the fit is moderately over-sized.
Mossy Marled Raglan
Choose two colours of fingering weight yarn and hold them together throughout this marled sweater project. The top-down pullover begins with a folded hem in twisted rib. Then moss stitch is worked in the round as you increase with raglan shaping. Stephen used two colours of West Wool Bicycle, a non-superwash merino wool. This soft and lofty fibre produces a super squishy and cosy fabric. The simple stitches and straight forward instructions make this sweater ideal for beginner sweater knitters. Enjoy mixing your yarns together as you knit this comfy sweater.
Port Townsend Hat
This all-stockinette hat is the ultimate stash-buster. Wear it your way: with a folded brim for a snug fit, or go unfolded for a slouchy look. Play with your stripes – make them thick or thin, vibrant with many colours or minimalistic with just a few.
Ruby Zoisite
Ruby Zoisite is a colourful metamorphic rock that combines red and green crystals, creating impressive decorative stones. Ruby Zoisite is said to have healing powers, a stone of strength that will push you to achieve your dreams. One thing is for sure, the Ruby Zoisite shawl gives great warmth and comfort to a wearer.
